Picking Raspberries at Great Grandma's

We had a fun visit with Grandma, we missed Grandpa who was at church. Great Grandma Vivian, the kids always love to visit out on the back patio on the porch swing

We picked so many raspberries, enough to make a batch of jam and 2 fresh raspberry pies! Thanks Mom! She came to our house and whipped it all up when we got home.

Ben likes to get in on the fun!

Carly just ate as she went, she didn't care if they were ripe or even the ones on the ground that were a little dirty. Yum !Yum !

Grandpa is 97 years old and still has an amazing garden every year!
That's a big one Luke.

Jack snagged a few zuchinni's too. You can never have to many zuchinni. We eat them right up at our house or I make zuchinni bread, scrumptious!!!

Out in the Country

We decided to head home from Star Valley and go a different way than we came so we could stop to visit Jen's Grandma and Grandpa in Idaho. There are so many open spaces and beautiful land I had to stop at least once and get some pictures. Jack wouldn't get out of the car, hence just Luke and Carly. Nothing but blue skies ahead!

Snake River

We stopped at the "lunchcounter" rapids along the snake river to let the kids see some river rafters go by. We were going to raft the river, but I think we'll wait till the kids are a little bit older.(A few more swimming lessons too!)watcha doing Carly?

Alpine Slide Jackson Hole

Jack flew down the slide!Cameron and Luke

Jen and Carly and some girl behind us that wished we had gone a little bit faster
Just riding the lift and seeing the view up top was as much fun as the slide.

The beautiful outdoors. Wyoming

Cottonwood Lake Wyoming

We drove up to Cottonwood lake near Star Valley and the kids had fun playing in the water a bit. It was so pretty. Next time we'll bring our fishing poles.

Jack machine pitch baseball 2009

It was fun to watch Jack play baseball this summer. He gets better every year. He throws left handed and is working on batting both right and left handed. He does everything else right handed. I guess he is amidextrous?

Sundance July 2009

We hiked to Stewart Falls which was 1.5 miles each way. The kids did pretty good, we did take lots of water breaks, it was hot. Carly got carried 98% of the way. It was so pretty, but I think I can wait a few more years before the next hike! Jack crossed the River for a good photo op.
